Well, not exactly! We met in middle school and had our first official class together our sophomore year of high school. We knew then that we'd be friends for a lifetime! It wasn't until we got a little older that we decided to take our friendship to the next level. On April 30th 2017, we decided it was time to give this "thing" a try. We knew we loved each other as friends (and then some for me..Shayna).. and ever since that day, we've been able to let that love grow into the incredible thing it is now!

We took a ferry ride from Downtown San Diego to Coronado Island where he hired a camera crew to catch our special moment. He walked me back to the same point (where he had previously fake proposed on our first date) this time, only to do it for real!
