We're getting Married!

On September 22, 2022, fate—and a little bit of Chicago nightlife—brought Demetri and Lizzy together. Lizzy was visiting the city for the very first time on a girls’ trip, while Demetri was out celebrating a friend’s birthday. One chance meeting at a lively bar turned into an instant connection neither of them could ignore. What followed was a long-distance romance filled with late-night FaceTime calls, laughter, and endless conversations. While Lizzy finished PA school and Demetri worked in Chicago, he took every opportunity to join her on rotations thanks to his flexible remote job. After graduation, the pair made the sunny move to St. Petersburg, Florida, where they’re now happily building their life—and future—together.
