the beginning of forever

In May 2019, Kate and Will both embarked on their journeys at Eataly, but in different corners of its vibrant world. Will found his stride at the rooftop restaurant, while Kate brought her talents to the seafood establishment. As they worked together and spent time outside of work, their friendship naturally blossomed. When the world came to a standstill in 2020 due to COVID-19, the pair continued working at Eataly in new capacities, adapting to the challenges of the time. Amid the uncertainty, their bond grew even stronger. Those lockdown months were filled with simple joys—ordering takeout, cruising through the city, and unwinding to their favorite music after long shifts. By the fall of 2020, their relationship, which had quietly flourished, was no longer a secret. Over the next four years, Kate and Will built a beautiful life together. They traveled to new places, savored incredible meals, and created a cozy home in their Astoria apartment. Along the way, they navigated career changes and celebrated milestones, always with each other’s support. In October 2024, the couple decided to revisit New Orleans for Halloween, a city that held special meaning to them—it was their first trip together in the spring of 2021, after COVID travel restrictions lifted. On October 30th, surrounded by the charm and ambiance of N7 New Orleans, Will surprised Kate by getting down on one knee. Without a moment’s hesitation, Kate said yes, sealing their commitment to a lifetime of love and adventure. Now, as they look forward to forever together, Kate and Will invite everyone to share in their journey, celebrating the moments—big and small—that brought them to this beautiful chapter.
