We met at Rochester Institute of Technology in 2009. In the beginning we didn’t have our eyes set on one another but over time we developed a unique friendship bond. In 2013, Justin graduated and moved back to Los Angeles while Demara stayed in Rochester to finish up school. In 2016 we reconnected back in Las Vegas and we just clicked. Something told us “this could be special!"

One day while Justin took our beloved dog, Dalo on a walk. Justin looked at the beautiful sky and just knew that Demara was the one for him. Justin ultimately decided that the proposal should be unique. He brought both sides of our families to Terranea Resort for family dinner during the week of Demara's birthday. While Demara was near the restaurant, the family walked down to the beach. Upon Demara return, Justin asked Demara to take a walk with him down to the beach. All of our Family had pictures of us throughout our relationship as Demara walked down to the beach. Slowly Demara began to get suspicious, I popped my knee down and asked her to be the love of my life. It was a beautiful and surreal moment for us because we are were able to be surrounded by both our families during this special moment. A symptom of bringing both families into a family.
