Jordan and Katherine met on a dating app. Their first date was at Brewer's Alley on a Sunday night because their schedules just would not align. The second date was at Dragon Distillery - this is where they really had good conversation and started to connect. After the date they snuggled on the couch and watched Hallmark Christmas movies for hours. Katherine now realizes that Jordan must have REALLY liked her in order to endure those movies.

Jordan and Katherine enjoy traveling - to both driving to mini getaways, exploring new places close to home such as the Eastern Shore and Atlantic City and also further destinations. Jordan and Katherine have travelled to Gatlinburg, Nashville, Orlando, Colorado Springs, Bimini, and Freeport to list some highlights. They also enjoy family trips to the beaches of the Outer Banks and Ocean City.

Grayson (9), Emory (7), and Logan (7) have spent the last four years together playing (and fighting) as siblings. Their first time hanging out was when Grayson and Logan were unknowingly signed up for the same T-Ball team. Katherine and Jordan spent the whole season pretending not to know each other. After the season the five of them spent a day together at the Catoctin Wild Life Preserve where Katherine, Grayson, and Emory "just happened to bump into "Jordan and Logan". The kids grew gradually closer from there until they seamlessly became constant companions in each other's lives.

One of Jordan and Katherine's favorite hobbies to enjoy together is Stand-Up Paddleboarding. Jordan and Katherine joined the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Club in order to have a beautiful location on the Eastern Shore to paddleboard. When Jordan planned a weekend trip to the Eastern Shore, Katherine suspected that he might be planning to propose. The trip came and went without it happening. Later that week, they went paddleboarding again near Point of Rocks and the Aqueduct and Jordan proposed while they were on their paddleboards. He had the ring in his bathing suit pocket in the middle of the Monocacy River. It turns out he had the ring in his bathing suit pocket while paddle boarding on the Chesapeake Bay as well, but due to strong winds decided not to risk taking it out there.
