I was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and relocated to South Carolina six years ago. Although, I did not expect to stay in SC as long as I have, I believe that it was God's plan to keep me here. I did not know it at the time that the man that became my partner in crime and best friend would also be my biggest supporter and become my future husband. Josh is my better half and consistently brings out the best in me while challenging me to be a better version of myself and for that I am forever grateful. The wonderful women I am honored to call my bridal party are my closest friends and cousin! I’ve never had the opportunity to experience having a sister but I imagine sisterhood is much like the bond I share with these amazing women.

I’m from the small town of Pineville, SC. A southern guy with a heart of gold. A true family man and people person. I am excited and elated to be aligning my life with Akilah. She is truly an angel sent from heaven and I am surely the luckiest man on the planet! I am also blessed to have champion groomsmen. They are beyond my fraternity brothers and blood could not make us any closer! They have lived up to being my brothers in every sense of the word.

We have been there for each other through highs and lows without judgement. We met as kids but matured as women together. From playing video games and jumping on trampolines as kids to drunken nights and come-to-Jesus convos as adults, I’m the guy to always show up and keep Josh grounded. Depend on me to keep the party going, always have a dope playlist, and whip up an amazing meal in the kitchen (but the kitchen will be left messy AF).

I will never forget how nervous I was to ask Akilah out on a “date” since I was new to Dayton and had 0 friends. Josh and I go way back to our freshman year at FMU as university diplomats. Shortly after that, we became fraternity brothers and created a tight bond.
