We met through our mutual friend and fellow groomsman, Alex San, freshman year of college. Matthew was a manager for the basketball team and I was on the cheer team for the basketball team. We both had to stay on campus for a good part of winter break that year for the basketball games and we started hanging out quite a bit. After a month of spending time together and getting know each other, the rest was history the semester started back up.

When we planned our Italy trip for this year, the thought of proposal was definitely in the air. Italy is one of our favorite places in the world and what better place to have this special moment. Matthew proposed at Badia a Coltibuono, a beautiful Tuscan winery that used to be monastery. As it was still early in our trip, I was definitely surprised and very happy to the beautiful garden of the estate the backdrop for such a wonderful moment. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Sonoma!
