Things To Do

I got my toes in the water, ass in the sand Not a worry in the world, a cold beer in my hand Life is good today... If you are confused on what to do while at the Keys, I recommend listening "Toes" by Zac Brown Band. Or any Jimmy Buffet song. BUT if you are not looking to sit back and relax, there is still plenty to do. Arriving from Key West airport? Maybe take a second and explore the little slice of paradise at the southernmost tip of the U.S.—think pastel houses, swaying palms, boutiques and lots of history. Sip mojitos on Duval Street, and say hi to the six-toed cats at Hemingway’s house. It’s laid-back, a little quirky, and totally charming. Planning on staying around Marathon Key? Still just as charming in its own way. Hit up any local fishery for the fresh catch and vibes. You can kayak or kiteboard at Curry Hammock State Park, which is super peaceful, or check out Pigeon Key for a little throwback history via the Old Seven Mile Bridge. Recommendations below.
