We’re getting married!

Noah somehow convinced me to drive down and hang out with him and some friends to go to a show on Halloween. I didn’t have any plans, so I thought, why not? I’d love to go out. He sent me his address, and I started getting ready, but as I was, I started to get really nervous and almost considered canceling. Just then, he called to ask if I was on my way, so I grabbed one of my girlfriends to tag along. What I didn’t realize was that the address he sent me was to a gas station right outside his military base. Yeah, he’d forgotten to mention he was in the military when we first started talking. I was shocked at first, but when he showed up dressed as Fat Thor, I knew there was no turning back. I ended up meeting all his friends, and we hit it off—turns out we had a lot in common! Everything was going great. We waited for my friend to arrive, and then we headed to the show. Honestly, it wasn’t like any show I’d been to before, especially since I wasn’t really into EDM—like house or techno. But this show was totally different, and I actually really enjoyed it! We danced for hours and had so much fun. I hadn’t had that much fun in ages. As the night came to a close, we started heading out of the club, and this one song played. He turned to me, looked me in the eyes, and asked, “Can I kiss you right now?” Of course, I said yes. Afterward, we went back to hang out with his friends. Noah and I stayed up late, talking in the living room after everyone else had fallen asleep. I felt so comfortable and happy with him. The next day, before he left for work, he gave me a jersey and something else that meant a lot to him. He looked at me and said, “Okay, now you have to see me again.” We’d planned to hang out the following week, but we couldn’t wait that long. So he invited me over again, and we just clicked so well. Then, four days later, on November 4th, 2022, he asked me to be his girlfriend. He really just couldn’t get enough.
