During a summer course in college, Ana and Mike were randomly assigned to a group project in which they did not originally get along. After months of group work and business projects, Ana and Mike were ready to finish the course. During their final project, Ana jokingly asked Mike if he would present the entire thing, knowing full-well that he had done the bulk of the paper work. This resulted in a slight rivalry between the two. Last day of class, Ana asked Mike to grab dinner, sort out their differences, and celebrate that they were done with the semester. Mike, hesitantly accepted. After some nachos and margaritas, they found out they had a lot in common. What started as a rivalry blossomed into romance and they've been inseparable ever since.

Mike wrote a message in Ana's native language telling her how much she meant to him and how we had found each other. He then sealed the letter in a bottle and hid it under a picnic blanket at Miami Beach. Mike waited for Ana to bump into it and she thought it was for someone else until she saw a message in it and Mike encouraged her to open it. After she finished reading it she looked up and Mike had a ring and Ana said YES!
