Anissa met Erica briefly in 2017. Little did they know that they would meet once again in 2019 at Tarleton State University social work program orientation. They have been best friends ever since and have been each other’s support system through these crazy times called adulthood. They both graduated in 2021 and continue to advance in their careers. Anissa is honored to have Erica as her maid of honor and be right by her side for her special day.
Kyle Evans
Best Man
Martin met Kyle through work and has built a brotherhood with Kyle and all his coworkers. Kyle became Martins' supporter and has been there for him through the ups and downs of life. Martin and Kyle like to crack jokes all the time who knows maybe they will be comedians in the next life. Martin is honored to have Kyle as his best man and to be right by his side through this exciting journey.
Jamie Harrell
Bridesmaid
Anissa met Jamie back in high school at Temple Christian. They had a special relationship and always stayed connected. Even when they graduated from high school they would find time to connect by Anissa visiting to Houston or Jamie coming back to Fort Worth. Anissa wishes Jamie would move back home already but hopes the day will come soon! Anissa is honored to have Jamie as her bridesmaid.

Martin and Ethan are cousins and have known each other since childhood. They have grown up together and have shared many memories of their lives together. Martin recalls the times they played video games together (which is Martin's favorite thing to do) along with Christian. Martin is honored to have Ethan as his groomsman.

Anissa met Aimie in 2019 as coworkers for the YMCA after school program. They instantly became friends and would go out together to eat with their other coworkers from the Y. They bonded over their passion for working with kids and sharing similar interests. Anissa is honored to have Aimie as her bridesmaid.

Martin has known Brandon since birth because he is the brother of the groom. Brandon and Martin have a strong bond. They have both been through the loss of their mother and miss her terribly. Brandon and Martin both like to be funny at times and play video games. Martin is honored to have Brandon as his groomsman.
Maria Rodriguez

Anissa met Maria back in 2016 at TCC in her algebra class and became friends. In 2017, both of them found out they were pregnant and both were expecting girls! Who would have known that they would be born exactly a month apart and now have their own friendship! They also graduated from TCC at the same time and supported each other ever since. Anissa is honored to have Maria as her bridesmaid.

Martin and Danny met last year. Danny is Erica’s (Anissa’s MOH) partner. They have been practically forced to meet lol. Martin and Danny do have fun especially when their partners drag them along to do activities or go out. Martin looks forward to getting to know Danny even more. Martin is honored to have Danny as his groomsman.

Anissa and Rose are cousins and have known each other since their childhood. They have grown up together and like to go out and have fun together. Rose is always the first to know about Anissa's crazy ideas and encourages her... even if she shouldn't. Anissa is honored to have Rose as her bridesmaid.

Martin met Jerry at Anissa's family functions because he is the brother of the bride. Jerry is a cool guy to talk to and hang with and always supports his big sister. Martin looks forward to getting to know his brother in law even more. Martin is honored to have Jerry as his groomsman.

Anissa has known Attalia since birth because she is the sister of the bride. Attalia is a unique young lady with great athletic skills like most of Anissa's family. Attalia supports her big sister's dream and is actually proud to have Martin join our family. She would have killed Anissa if she did not marry him. Anissa is honored to have Attalia as her bridesmaid.

Martin met Stefon at a family function because he is the cousin of the bride. Stefon is such a sweet young soul and he knows how to bring someone in and have a good time. They mainly bond over video games as young men would. Martin is honored to have Stefon as his groomsman.

Nancy is Erica's (MOH) daughter and Anissa and Martin are so honored to have her as a junior bridesmaid. Nancy is a sweet and funny young lady that makes life enjoyable.

Ezekiel is Eric's (MOH) and Daniel's(GM) son and though he is little Anissa and Martin are honored to have him as the ring bearer. Ezekiel is the cutest and even though he may not remember this day he has tons of people to remind him.

Jade is the daughter of the bride and soon groom. She is the sweetest little girl and is very excited for her mother to get married to Martin. She also cannot wait to throw flowers down the aisle and do her walk that she has worked so hard on. Anissa and Martin are honored and proud to have Jade as the flower girl!

Jimmy is the brother of the bride. He is excited to be a part of the wedding and light the candle that remembers those who can not be here. Anissa and Martin are honored to have Jimmy as the candle lighter.

Mother & Father of the Bride
April is the mother of the bride and has been her supporter since birth. April has raised Anissa and her brother Jerry as a single mom in California. She moved her family to Texas to have a better life after the passing of her late husband Geraldo. April is the best mom Jimmy is Anissa's Step-Father and has raised her since the age of 10. Jimmy has been an excellent father figure and has been one of Anissa's supporters. Anissa is honored to have Jimmy walk her down the aisle and give her away. and always puts her kids first. Anissa is honored to have April as her Mother of the Bride.

Venita is the mother of the groom and unfortunately will not be physically present for the wedding. Venita passed away due to cancer. Martin knows that she will be with him in spirit and will support him on this new journey in life. Martin is honored to have Venita as mother of the groom.

Geraldo is the father of the bride and unfortunately will not be physically present for the wedding. Geraldo passed away in 2002 due to a car accident. Anissa knows that he will be there with her in spirit and will support her on this new journey in life. Anissa is honored to have Geraldo as father of the bride.

Gilbert is the father of the groom. Gilbert has raised Martin to be a man who is strong, kind, and hardworking. He had been his support through lifes hardest moments and continues to guide him through the new journey he is on. Martin is honored to have Gilbert as father of the groom.

Sarah is the bride's coworker and a minister at The Hills Church. She has been such a great person to talk to for advice and guidance. She is very wise and she has this peace that she brings to every situation. Anissa and Martin are honored to have her officiate their marriage.
