Kyle and Delores had been matching online for years, but never really took things beyond that, that is until October 31, 2022. That day, they matched for what they thought would be the last time. This time though, they made plans to actually go on a date. That day was, November 4, 2022. It was one of those days where everything seemed to go wrong. Kyle's car was leaking antifreeze and his rental car wasn't available for them to finally go on this date. On Delores' end, she had the worst day imaginable, losing one of her top residents, and the icing on the cake was her breaking a nail. Delores was honestly ready to cancel the date but Kyle insisted they kept their plans; go out, even if it was jut to eat and have a little fun. From the moment Kyle opened the door to his car, everything felt...natural, familiar. It was like catching up with an old friend that you hadn't seen in a while. Delores could tell that Kyle was determined to make it happen, despite all the setbacks, and that flattered Delores. When Delores got into the car, she notices the backseat was filled with antifreeze. Kyle had gone through all this trouble to make sure the date would still happen. Delores couldn't help but to smile. The date just kept getting better and better. As the two were driving to Kickback Jacks the song "All Mine" by Brent Faiyaz came on, and that's when Delores heard Kyle sing for the first time. Kyle's voice still gives Delores butterflies to this day. After dinner, Delores & Kyle went back to Kyle's mother's home. Kyle asked Delores if he could kiss her for the first time, and when the couple kissed it was unlike anything Delores had ever felt. Delores instantly felt a sense of peace that she had never known before. At that moment, Delores knew she would always be safe with Kyle. After their kiss, Kyle asked if Delores felt the connection too. Even though deep down Delores could feel it, she playfully said no. Later that night, Delores called her mom and told her "I just kissed my husband". Of course, like most mothers, she told her to slow down, but in Delores' heart she knew Kyle was different---and whatever journey the couple was about to embark on would change their lives forever...
