Best Man
At a young age our relationship consisted of playing Pokémon, kicking the soccer ball, and one time breaking his arm. These days, we can be found on the Tenniss court, watching the cricket, and fighting for video game supremacy. As my oldest friend, picking him for Best Man was an easy decision.
Maid of Honor
This Incredible Lady I grew up with not only as a sister but as a best friend as well! We we have braved the worst of it together, whether a plain monster in the hallways of our childhood home, or working through heavy life, we have been with each other every step of the way! Our road trips, shopping, and making up songs together are some of my favorite memories!
Groomsman
Nick and I became fast friends when he started at my school in 10th grade. Throughout high school we spent every lunch out together, took holidays together, and after graduating traveled Spain together. Though we live an ocean apart, I’ve always considered him one of my closest friends. Maria is also close with him and loves discussing the newest Love Island episodes.
Groomsman
After meeting in college, Trevor and I bonded over our love of tech and our similar tastes in music. He even helped teach me how to drive! After college we kept in touch and since he moved to California we’ve been able to hangout regularly. Though we sometimes bicker about tech(when he’s wrong), I’m lucky to have a friend like him nearby.
Groomsman
Sometimes in-law relationships could feel forced, but nothing feels forced about being around Dom. Our mutual love of music and our general sense of silliness are reasons I look forward to being around him. I am excited to be able to call him my brother.
Bridesmaid
I met this Beautiful Blossom when she was born, and I was completely obsessed with her from that day on! I moved to Paris to be her nanny, and as she has grown up she’s become a dear friend. She is a young person that makes me so happy for the future of our world!
Bridesmaid
This Perfect Princess has truly been a best friend since she moved right down the street from me in eighth grade! You could always find us going on walks together, stealing pomegranates from peoples trees, and having sleepovers even though we were just a few houses down from our own house. She never let my time out of the country drift us apart, and I have loved to see her family grow over the years.
Bridesmaid
This Warrior went to elementary school with me, however we really got to know each other in French class. What started out as classmates kept growing into a deep friendship. Going on long drives together, catching up at Perkos, and being around her hilarious family are all things I love doing with her! Studying to be a chaplain in the military, I find her balance of Christianity and advocacy it to be incredibly refreshing and much needed in this world.
Bridesmaid
I don’t know exactly when this Glorious Gal and I met. Our parents been teachers together just fused a friendship from the get go! She always keeps me laughing even at the worst of times, and her resilience in life is a beauty we could all learn from! You can catch me at her childhood home stealing Coca-Cola out of the fridge, and candy out of the junk drawer! Thank goodness the universe planned for us to be friends because I can't imagine life without this woman!
Bridesmaid
I met this Gorgeous Gem at summer camp as kids. I remember when I met her I felt like she was so ahead of the game, she had this beautiful refreshing outlook of the world and I was so in all of that. As our friendship grew from childhood to adulthood she welcomed me in when I first moved to Santa Cruz and housed me in a time of need. And the more recent days we went through the thick of it as coworkers at a school site during Covid, you could imagine how much I leaned on her during that time. Seeing her every day at work was essential to me getting through that time!
Bridesmaid
I met this ‘beautiful-talented-brilliant-powerful-musk-ox’ (inside joke) in Band class freshman year. Lucky for us the universe had planned this friendship from the start! We started with Band but together braved all years of French class, AP US History, AP American Literature, Leadership. When those classes Weren’t taking over, she performed as the brilliant Alice in the play I directed, Alice in wonderland. The truth is we’ve been through the absolute worst of times together by each other side, and we have been through the best of times together as well. Trips across states and oceans to see each other, has fused us as sisters.
Bridesmaid
This Madismossile and I met in Paris. She knew Christian and I separately, and was there as we started our relationship together. In Paris You could rarely find me without her and vice versa. We were talked about as one unit so often that one of our youth group students actually thought my full name was Maria N’Ali because people always said ‘Maria and Ali’ he had never head me without her. As we moved back to the states and adjusted to life over here, we always stayed close and kept that part of Paris with us.
Bridesmaid
This Lovely Woman is my new sister-in-law! I was actually her youth group leader before Christian and I started dating. Besides dinners, picnics on the Champs des Mars, going to Mac Dos, Starbucks and Lock Ins, we have traveled on trains across Europe together having a complete ball. Being with her is always an incredibly good time, and she lights up every room she walks into!
Bridesmaid
I met this Queen through summer church camp many years ago. Since then we have transitioned from campers, to directors together. We spend our days talking nail color, watching reality TV together, and talking nonstop about everything and anything. I do not think I could get through my days without knowing I’m seeing her soon. Conversations together are the perfect conversational balance of silly and serious, just what the doctor ordered!
Bridesmaid
This Goddess I have the honor of working with at Outdoor School. Her title quickly moved from just a coworker and over the years has become a best friend, cheerleader, confidant, inspiration, and partner in crime. I’ve said before if the world Had more solstices, the world would be a more wonderful place. Similar to a summer/winter solstice, it’s not often to find a friend like this, but when you do it’s special and beautiful- just like watching a Solstice.
Bridesmaid
I worked with this Sunbeam at Outdoor School where we carpooled together every week. No music was needed in this car, we talked nonstop about relationships, advocacy, and the best dried fruits at Safeway. As we have both left that job she has always made time to make sure we see each other and stay connected. She is a true sun beam of bright light and makes the world smile!
Bridesman
Dominick has the honor of being on both sides of the isle. When I found out I was not going to be the baby of the family anymore I was so upset. I cut baby pictures out of all the parenting magazines in the house and taped them everywhere to get used to it. When he was born, I was in love. I carried him everywhere even though I was a tiny one still too. As he has grown I have been so inspired by the person he has become. He encourages me to reflect and seek out ways to strengthen myself. He is an incredible friend to humans and the Earth, he loves deeply and can make everyone laugh with just a look. He is the beauty this world needs. I am so glad he is my Bridesman AND Christian’s Groomsmen!
