Bailey and Jacob can't really tell their love story without first acknowledging others, because there would be no Bailey and Jacob if there wasn't first a Jay, Luke and Kat. In early 2023 they secretly laid out a carefully executed plan to get the couple together. They spent months suggesting and hinting separately to the couple about each other. After a month Bailey took the suggestion and decided to take the leap to see if Jacob was single. It took months of hinting and hanging out at water polo to finally get an answer. Eventually friending each other on Facebook. Like any other relationship this one started with a question to go on a date… kind of. The question was actually to go to a water polo tournament together with Jay and Kat. So a date with two chaperones. The day took us from the pool to breakfast where crazy stories about Jacob and Jay’s youth that way Bailey would know what she was getting myself in to. After a delicious breakfast and story time we decided to make our way to an arcade. Here we learned Jacob and Bailey both hate to lose. After an hour of competing in every game imaginable we finally had to head back to the pool. Every weekend following was spent together. Going camping the following weekend, to driving up to Seattle the weekend after that. Since then life has been filled with a bit of adventure, finding peace in slowing down, and growing in life together. It has been 3 years of camping trips with the dogs, building a house, traveling to new places, coaching, endless trips to Home Depot and plant stores, lazy days binge watching movies, endless laughter, and lots and lots of love. We can’t wait to celebrate our love and our story with you all in July!
