LOVE WINSLOVE WINS

Kim and Michelle are excited to share their love story with you and how, in less than half a minute, your life can change completely. July of 2020 was the start of a blossoming friendship for these two. Michelle began a veterinary technology internship at a local veterinary clinic where Kim worked. From the very first day, they knew there was something there. Initially a great friendship, later a deep and vibrant love. In the summer of 2021, there was a huge change in Michelle's familial support system and regular planned friend date days began. The time together quickly became more meaningful, more intruiging. When the warm turned to cold, trees began painting the Maine terrain in beautiful shades of yellow, orange, and red. A favorite season for both, as they discovered, autumn was upon them! Strengthening their foundation of friendship, the two continued working together, spending time together, and having friend dates. A warm night in May of 2022 marked the beginning of something more than a friendship, though. After spending the evening together, they talked until it was dark and the moon rose over the landscape of the ocean. Michelle feels like home to Kim, Kim feels like a breath of fresh air to Michelle, and that night is when a quick 20 seconds of courage, a kiss, changed the trajectory of both of their lives. So, began a love story. Kim planned a beautiful, perfect, surprise proposal for Michelle in October of 2023. She said yes!!! And a few months later, under the stars, she asked Kim to marry her too.
