John & Patti Della Rosa

Parents of the Groom

Everything we have is made possible through the love and support of our parents.

Christina Albrecht

Matron of Honor

Emily & Christina became Facebook friends on August 10th, 2007-- Christina's 18th birthday. They connected through the Ramsey Hall group created for incoming freshman at West Chester University. With the epic comment, "excited for West Chester, oh and happy birthday!" , a historic friendship began. Over the next nine years, Christina & Emily lived together a total of four years at three different locations and shared countless laughs while quoting Spongebob. Emily always considered Christina's relationship with her husband Andy to be the epitome of a perfect match. Whenever Emily needed a friend, Christina was there for her-- she even let Emily live in her house for a whole year during Christina & Andy's first year as newlyweds! Christina is a true friend whom anyone is lucky to know.

Jill Lebus

Bridesmaid

Emily's first memory of Jill is when Jill came into the Ramsey Hall lobby and said "Look what I can do" while demonstrating how to coordinate words she had written on her hands to move in sync with the Daft Punk song "Harder Better Faster Stronger". Emily clearly recalls thinking to herself, "I need to know that girl". From then on, Emily was completely in awe of Jill. Not much changed over the next eleven years as Jill proceeded to exhibit her fearlessness and unapologetically electric personality across the town of West Chester, PA. Jill does all things with passion and devotion. Through the many ups and downs of college and post-college life, their friendship remains a lasting bond.

Christin Caputo

Bridesmaid

The first time Emily recalls meeting Christin was during a Ramsey Hall floor meeting, in which Christin told the entire floor to let her know if anyone found a pink Motorola Razr cellphone, as she had lost hers the night before. This was definitely a sign of things to come for both Christin and Emily over the next four years at West Chester University. Again, not much has changed as Christin is still the life of the party and Emily still loves to tell Christin how she is "SO CUTE!". Christin is always the first one to share a positive thought to make someone feel better and is incredibly thoughtful towards everyone in her life. This adorable blonde met her perfect match in Steeeephen Caputo and Emily & Tim hope to share many more adventures with them in years to come!

Nicole Easton

Bridesmaid

Nicole & Emily met when they both taught preschool at what each thought was their "first real job". Little did they know, Emily & Nicole still had many "first real jobs" to get through before ending up on the same path completing a Masters degree at St. Joseph's University! If it wasn't for Nicole, Emily never would have moved to Philadelphia in 2015, and probably never would have met Tim. Emily will always be grateful to Nicole for pushing her outside of her comfort zone. Nicole is full of life and always down to try something new-- who else would've joined Emily in a drum circle in Sanibel Island, Florida? Emily was honored to be a bridesmaid when Nicole married her husband Nic in 2018.

Kelly Della Rosa

Bridesmaid

The first time Emily heard about Kelly was when Tim excitedly talked about her on their first date. Tim knew Kelly & Emily would hit it off because they both work in the field of Special Education. Luckily, they did hit off and Emily is overjoyed to call Kelly her future sister! Kelly is the kind of friend everyone deserves to know-- unwaveringly optimistic, determined & devoted to helping people and animals! Kelly & her husband Matt--Tim's eldest brother-- never never never never give up, and it shows! Just don't challenge them to a game of Scattergories because it could get ugly.

Kimberly Della Rosa

Bridesmaid

Emily & Kim met when both were still dating their future husbands. Although Emily knew that Tim's brother Kevin was soon to pop the question to Kim, she had to keep it under wraps. This night also marked the first time Emily met any member of Tim's family, so it was a big deal! That night, they met "Pizza John" and the rest is history. Unfailingly thoughtful, Kim is the first to offer a hand to others. Emily admires Kim's conscientiousness in every aspect. Kim & her husband Kevin complement each other perfectly and their commitment to each other is a model to others. Emily can't wait to call Kim her sister!

Matt Della Rosa

Co-Best Man

My oldest brother and the ultimate competitor, and loser (inside joke). There’s simply no better example of strength and loyalty than Matt. Through his relationship with his wife Kelly, Matt has led by example and showed Kev and I what a marriage is supposed to represent. Although, historically, he has won admittedly 85% of our one-on -one basketball games, it never puts a damper on the fun we have together. Two of my greatest passions, animals and baseball statistics, are also Matt’s as well. Matt makes the best Chex Mix for each family member every Christmas. I am lucky to have a brother like Matt who brings passionate devotion into all areas of his life, whether it is for his family, rescuing animals, or the Atlanta Braves!

Kevin Della Rosa

Co-Best Man

My brother Kevin (Kev) has been instrumental in shaping my personality-- past, present, and future. Kev is an exceptional brother in so many ways. Kev and his wife Kim are the perfect fun-loving pair. The most hard-working and humble Physician Assistant around, Kev balances all things in his life with grace and moderation. Always ready to listen and give advice, he has been indispensable in helping with my career aspirations. I’ll never forget our 14-hour drive to Nashville all in one day, constantly rotating shifts behind the wheel. Anyone who meets Kev can see that, if there were more of him out there, this world would be better for it.

Jack Cavanaugh

Co-Best Man

Jack and I went to rival high schools, but don’t let that fool you! We became fast friends on day one of college, which developed into a memorable four-year run as roommates. Jack is the type of friend anyone would count lucky to be in their corner-- a positive, reassuring presence in all of our countless conversations and adventures. Despite our busy schedules, you can always find us making time for our Friday happy hours to recap the week prior. Our 2015 trek across Europe still stands as my most memorable vacation, where we slept in huts in Greece and hostels in Budapest. Jack makes people feel better about himself when in his presence, and that’s a rare and special quality.

Mike Corgan

Groomsman

From the Bishop O’Reilly Cross Country team to present-day Philadelphia, we share many similarities including sports, movies, books, and eating salads at our favorite lunch spots each week. When home over breaks, Mike and his family are the kind of welcoming people where I can always drop by for a night to reminisce and catch up. Not only a group chat member, we have travelled to Notre Dame football games, the West Coast (for a 200 mile relay race!), and New Jersey/Delaware beaches. A cherished friend and former two year Fairmount roommate, Mike exemplifies honesty and good humor.

Dan Mullen

Groomsman

Dan is my oldest and funniest friend. From Humpty Dumpty Preschool to Bishop O’Reilly High School, we’ve gone through a whopping twelve years of Catholic education together. We’ve shared countless sports games, bus rides, classes, Scrubs episodes, swimming sessions, and, most importantly, laughs. No one that can lift a mood in the room quite like Dan. Truly one of the most well-rounded and intelligent people out there -- except when it comes to spelling! Dan’s gift for language and humor serve him perfectly as a successful lawyer and I couldn’t be happier than I have sound legal advice in my corner.

Joe Moran

Groomsman

Joe has been a large part of all the things I hold dear-- St Joe’s Basketball, Dewey Beach, Manayunk, Notre Dame, & Florida vacations. A five year roommate, between Manayunk and City Avenue we’ve shared many intense one-on-one basketball games and laughs about the daily and ordinary musings in life. Joe puts family and friends first in his life, with an admirable dedication to medicine. I’ve always been impressed with Joe’s limitless energy and the way he maximizes the potential in all facets of his life while always leaving room for fun. I’ve had some of my most enjoyable moments at the beach or on vacation with Joe.

Brendan Egan

Groomsman

I met Brendan-- also known as “Beegs”-- in Florence, Italy during our Study Abroad semester in Spring 2010. We instantly bonded over an appreciation for Salumeria Verdi paninis and our love of baseball. Brendan’s Atlanta Braves allegiance, mixed with my extreme Minnesota Twins fandom, can only mean one thing-- our shared hatred of the Yankees! During our time as roommates for two years in Philadelphia, our friendship blossomed even more. He was the first friend to truly make Emily feel welcome in my circle of friends. Brendan is quick with a joke and is the go-to friend for a good time on the weekends. Some of the very best memories include beach trips, countless games of Super Smash Brothers, and our love of anything sports and competition related.

Chris Kester

Groomsman

An integral part of the Group Chat, Chris is my go-to friend that shares a love of good coffee, great music, and the outdoors, including Dewey Beach. Friends since high school, we’ve shared countless conversations, PA turnpike miles, and laughs over seemingly anything. Forever bonded through basketball, David Nail, and Siesta Key, I’ve always been inspired by Chris’s quiet confidence in the big and little things in life. Through osmosis, I try to reflect the many positive attributes Chris possesses. During his tireless pursuit to become an Orthopedic Surgeon, Chris has shown admirable motivation and inspiring drive to do things the right way.
