Our story begins on the fields and mats of Immaculate Conception High School in Lodi, NJ, where Nick coached wrestling, Gianna coached lacrosse, and both of us were completely unaware that we were about to meet the love of our lives. From the very beginning, the groom was head over heels for the bride. The only catch? She was unavailable. But that didn’t stop him from trying (multiple times). With a bit of persistence and a lot of help from our friend and athletic director, Dale (shoutout Dale!), fate finally stepped in. Finally, we went on our first date at Bottagra Restaurant in Hawthorne, NJ. From that night on, we knew we were meant for each other; no second date or talking stage needed! Today, we live in Stockholm, NJ with our dog, Harley. Gianna is currently a nurse, and Nick is a police officer, and yes, that combination definitely keeps life interesting. Despite our hectic schedules and eventful stories, we make it work. We understand what it means to show up for others, to stay calm under pressure, and to keep a sense of humor through it all. That balance has shaped our relationship from the very beginning. What started as two coaches crossing paths has turned into a lifelong team, and we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you!
