Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Della Frederickson and Timmy Watters
Here, you'll find our favorite things to do in Teton Valley (Victor + Driggs area). We've got our favorite spots to eat, drink, hike, you name it. It's hard to go wrong in this beautiful valley. We hope you can come early/stay late! Some things to keep in mind: *Many people commute from Victor to Jackson for work. If you are traveling to/from Jackson, try to avoid leaving during rush hour (7:30-9:00 am and 4:00- 6:00 pm) *BOOK EARLY!! Summer is an extremely busy time in the Victor/Jackson area. This is just the tip of the iceberg for things to do! If you feel overwhelmed or don't know where to start, reach out to Timmy or Della for personalized recommendations.
Grand Targhee Resort

Grand Targhee Resort

Alta, WY 83414

Our favorite local ski hill in Driggs, ID! Play frisbee golf, hike, or mountain bike. For Teton Views - buy a day pass and ride the chairlift up and hike down (or ride down). There's also a lunch option at the top. Treat yourself after a hike or bike with lunch at the Trap Bar...we highly recommend the Wydaho Fries and a cold beer! Check out the Trailforks app for more trail information in this area.

Fly Fishing!!!!!

Fly Fishing!!!!!

Sorry... Timmy will not be available for hire this week... but Worldcast Anglers is where Timmy works and is an awesome fly fishing guiding service in downtown Victor! Reach out to Timmy for recs! There are also spots around the area where you can fish without a guide - Timmy's favorites are the Teton River (our local river with multiple put-ins for wading or floating) or the South Fork of the Snake River (world-class fishing 45 min away). Grab an Idaho fishing license at The Emporium in downtown Victor.

Grand Teton National Park is one of our favorite places out west! The park is just 15 minutes north of the town of Jackson - about an hour from Victor. If parking at Death Canyon Trailhead use this map: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/wyoming/phelps-lake--5 There is a rock to jump off midway through the hike - a yellow dot on the AllTrails map! You can hike all the way around the lake, or walk to the rock and back.

Beautiful out-and-back hike! Park at Jenny Lake and hike around the lake or take the boat shuttle across ($20 per person) which reduces your hiking time. From here, you'll head up Cascade Canyon. As with most trails in GTNP, the farther up the trail you go, the fewer people you will see. If you want a challenging hike, go all the way up to Lake Solitude.

Grand Teton National Park- Challenging Hike- Delta Lake

A locals’ favorite at the foot of the Grand Teton. Parking and the trailhead are a circus, but the trail gets exponentially less crowded as you go. Read the description in the link very carefully!!
