Daniel: We met through her sister. Here's the story: Her sister reached out to me to see if I had "an old lady" yet, back in October 2021. Her sister had been trying to find me someone for a loooong time. I told her no. She asked if I could show her sister, who just moved down, around and stuff like that. I told her I did not go out, all I do is go to restaurants. That was good enough for her! So, she gave my number to Kia, then Kia reached out to me. Our first "outing" was to Piedmont Park and then to Tuk Tuk in Midtown. Delkia: It was a set up LOL! When I first moved to GA my sister introduced us for what was supposed to be a simple "outing" of a new city but 5 outings later we were boyfriend and girlfriend

Delkia: Hmm, I really had to think about this one because when I originally thought "he was the one" we had a disagreement and he kicked me out his house, so I had an attitude with him for the longest time after that (the attitude didn't last long but I surely wasn't going to call first). I don't think there was a defining moment or action he made, over time he just began to be vulnerable with me (which I know was hard and unusual for him). His attempts to prove that he wanted our relationship AND me is what made me realize he was the one! Our conversations became intentional, and his actions always matched his words. Between that and CONSTANT talks with GOD I trusted he was surely " The One".... P.S: I didn't reject him. I just wasn't sure he could handle me, I had to make sure :) Daniel: Hmmmm. it all started when she hosted a "surprise" birthday party where it was a prom theme. I was home schooled, so I did not have a traditional prom. The prom I attended was my friends' high school prom and I had a "blind date". Kia knew about this and for the first time we celebrated my birthday together, she got my family and friends together to have 'prom'. Then, it was the conversations we had down the road. I began to open up (which is unheard of in my circle) more and her responses- or non-responses- to me opening up was a good sign of this relationship becoming more. And it also helped in her favor when we weren't even a month into our relationship, she got me a PS5 which was very hard to get at the time!.... P.S when I asked her out, she rejected me at first.

Daniel: Her way of making it happen captain! To be honest, that's really what made me start taking notice if she was the one, which was our second date. She was innovative with what she had to work with regarding the food she received, which was not what she ordered. Delkia: Not to be cliche', but I truly do love the way he loves me in its entirety: how he handles me with a certain grace and patience really sets the tone for our relationship! His favor from God resonates through our connection and conversations, I really enjoy my Cinderella, passenger princess life that I have! That man doesn't play about me, and I Love that for me!
