    Things To Do

Things To Do

There are some really neat things to do in, and around, Asheboro! Below is a list of some of our top recommendations:

North Carolina Zoo

4401 Zoo Parkway, Asheboro, NC 27205
, (336) 879-7000

Largest natural habitat zoo in the world

Seagrove Pottery

Seagrove, NC 27341

Seagrove, NC boasts the largest concentration of working potters in the United States! North Carolina is known for their red clay dirt. This clay makes for the perfect pottery making! This website lists most, if not all, of the local potters in Seagrove, which is just south of Asheboro.

Richard Petty Museum

311 Branson Mill Road, Randleman, NC 27317
, (336) 495-1143

If you're a fan of NASCAR at all, the Richard Petty Museum in Randleman (the home of Richard Petty) is a neat spot to check out on your visit!

Downtown Asheboro Shopping & Dining

Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC

Downtown Asheboro has significantly grown over the last decade and is now home to several local eateries and shops. Jessica highly recommends stopping in the local antique malls and boutiques for shopping. One of Jessica's favorite local restaurants is The Table Farmhouse Bakery - you can't go wrong with ANYTHING they have! Central Bakery has some of the best sweet treats (especially if you love icing!) that you'll ever taste! Four Saints Brewing is one of Brett's favorite's for local brews, and if you're wanting a little more "classy," try out Lumina Wine & Beer! There is something for everyone downtown :)

For all the days along the way
