‘Till death do us part

Going on boat rides down the river and a beer in our hands and eating bbq our 4th of July weekend couldn’t be more perfect! Night fall came and as laughter and playful banter filled the air one last boat ride was mandatory while waiting on the finishing touches to be finished for the firework show to start. The breeze off the river water was nostalgic enough to bring back memories of how free you felt as a kid your first time sticking your head out of the car window. Blasting music and singing our little hearts out we slowly made our way back down river, sticking my hands over the edge of the boat feeling the river water rush throw the cracks in my fingers it was time for the boat to come to a stop. The fireworks started and suddenly I was in love with this beautiful new experience of watching the fireworks out on the boat. I turned to Brennan and pointed at my bare ring finger hinting that he better put a ring on it soon, before I knew it soon ended up being in seconds! He got down on one knee while the fireworks were still going off, I asked him if he was joking and he laughed in my face and said he was serious without hesitation I put that ring on my finger after 10 minutes of me screaming in excitement the first thing I said was “HOW AM I GOING TO TELL MY MOM?!?!” I hope you enjoyed reading our story as much as I loved telling it!
