Marisol is my younger sister. She has automatically had the role of my best friend, counselor, and biggest cheerleader. Our childhood was interesting she didn’t care if she got in trouble and I hated it. I constantly had to be the middle person. I would call “shotgun window seat” her and Jr would fight and I would have to sit between them. I got my payback when we got older and she would come to my room to watch TV, I would just turn the TV off. She hated me for that and still brings it up. Or when we would stay up late giggling talking about the day and boys and my dad would come by and tell us to go to sleep. She would stay quiet and I would reply “okay”. She would say “why did you reply”. She is my ride or die and has my back. I could not see myself without her by my side today.

Best Man
My brother from another mother Nick has been a good friend to me since we were 9 years old. It’s been so long ago but we were introduced one day and then the next day he came knocking on the back door. My grandma yelled Sammy! Someone is at the back door, it was Nick, asking if I could come out and play. She nicknamed him Piglet, when he would come over she would say “Sammy! Piglet is here! “ We have had many memorable moments together from getting brought home by the cops in the middle of the night to having many sit downs with his mom Laura. I wouldn’t change a thing about our history as it has made us who we are today. We have always stayed in touch and now have kids of our own that play together. I am very fortunate to have met Nick and today wouldn’t be the same without him..

My lifelong sidekick! I was blessed when Alexis made me a mom. Without knowing it she completed me and helped me grow as a mom and a person. She is my 10 yr old best friend and partner in crime until she replaces me with her Best Friend. Being able to have her next to me on this already special day is even more of a reward. We get to share and show her what true love and commitment looks like.

I have known Lucas before he could wipe his own ass. He was for the most part a really good kid. As we got older we had lost contact and didn't see each other for awhile. I would say about the last 2 years we have become really good friends and very much see each other as brothers. I am very happy to have him here with me on this special day.

Brian was one of my first friends I had made when I had moved to Mesquite with my grandmother. I had met him through my buddy Corey when we were about 8 years old. Brian and I have a lot of history, we went to all the same schools growing up and with that being said, as we became teenagers we did a lot of partying and had a lot of fun. Brian was always that one friend that would always randomly reach out to me just to see how I've been doing and when we could possibly grab a beer together. I was a groomsman at his wedding and now he is one in mine.
Shelly Richter
Bridesmaid
Shelly and I met through our husbands. Our story started on a float down the Guadalupe River. Lots of booze and fun, but the most interesting part was being flipped under the tubes and almost drowning until Shelly pulled me up and SAVED MY LIFE. We then both flipped underwater and had to be saved. I still count it as she saved me. My life with Sammy and this day would not have been possible if she had not saved me that day. Shelly is a beautiful person inside and out and knows how to bring an outsider into the circle. She has always pulled and tugged at my “quiet side” to get me to open up. When time keeps us apart and we do get together it’s as if it was just yesterday that we saw each other. I am grateful to have Shelly at my side on this day.

Marty is a friend of mine that I know if I'm in a bind and really need his help, he'll be there. We had met at the end of our 7th grade year in middle school. One thing right off the bat that we had in common was we liked fast cars and partying. As we had gotten older, we still liked fast cars but started enjoying mudding together in our four wheel drive pickups every time it had rained the day before. We had a crazy and wild friendship together as we grew up into the men that we are today. I am excited to have him here with me on this special day.

My oldest niece, I not only became a new mom but 6 days later became a Tia to Sophia. She has been a part of shaping me as a a Tia and always keeps me in line and honest. Sharing this special day with her is a blessing and I’m happy to have her by my side.

Junior and I had met a little after I had met my bride to be. I met Junior when he was 15 years old, I don't think he really liked me much at first till one night I had came by to pickup Delia and had a few beers with him. We had became really good friends over the years and had considered each other as brothers. We both love having a good time like hunting, fishing and drinking beer. We have had many adventures together and I'm happy that he is here with me on this special day.

I met Victoria on one of the first nights I hung out with Sammy. She was only 12 years old and he had people over to pop fireworks at his house. The cops stopped by and Sammy "the hero" he is took me inside and put me in the hallway so I wouldn't get in trouble. She came out of her room and saw me stowed away in the hall. I still remember the look on her face. She was surprised but also a "who the hell are you" face. We were instantly connected, we went shopping a few weeks later and Marisol started to straighten her hair for the first time. She became another sister to not just me but also Marisol. I am so grateful to have her as a bonus sister and share important moments like our biggest day with her.
Cole Castro

I met Cole about a year in a half ago at River Run through my friend Blake. Today we both thank Blake for introducing us. One of the first times Cole and I had actually hung out other than at River Run was at a shop party of mine that I had invited him too. There is never a dull moment when it comes to Cole, we both live our lives to the fullest which is what I think made us really good friends. Cole and I had given each other scars over our period of time being friends, they weren't by choice but by living our lives to the extreme. We laugh about them now but consider them a sign of a forever friendship. Cole is a very good person and friend, I am thrilled to have him here with me today as I marry the women of my dreams.
