We’re getting married!

Even though we first met in choir two years earlier, 2015 was when our friendship grew. From realizing our mutual love of animated shows and literature, to having life-chats about what was important to us, we soon became close friends. As 2015 neared its end, I worked up the courage (and sense) to ask Jackie if she would like to go on a date and see where things went. Her first response was a question: “Why would you like to go out with me?” I told her how much our friendship meant to me, and that I could see it growing into something more if we gave it a chance. Jackie agreed. We planned to go out to a movie followed by dinner. Little did we know, that would set up our first of many shows we would go out to see together.
