The total flight time ranges from about 16 to 25hrs with layovers in Istanbul (IST). Make sure to download the Turkish Airlines App at least to a few days prior to your flight to assist with check in and flight updates.

Travel Note
On the flight to Greece try to avoid seats by the bathroom as during a long flight the bathroom will be used frequently Please be aware that Greece has different power outlets than in the US most hotels have a usb outlet to charge your phone but for larger electronic devices bring a power converter. Uber is available in Greece. Please download the app in advance if you plan on using it. Please allocate adequate time between landing and any activities as the passport control in Greece can take a while to get through. The local currency in Greece is Euros. If you plan on using cash while in Greece make arrangements to obtain euros from your bank, an ATM or the airport. Many businesses in Greece use WhatsApp as a primary means of communication. I would suggest downloading this app on your phone prior to your arrival in Greece. Don’t forget to make arrangements to purchase an international pass with your phone carrier prior to arriving in Greece or purchase a new SIM card while in Greece. Though there is WiFi in most places I would recommend making these arrangements so you can stay connected while traveling.
