Valley Forge National Historical Park
There are multiple entry points from which you can begin your exploration of the park's 3,500 acres of meadows, woodlands and monuments. Whether you're a history nerd (like Matt who reads EVERY sign in every park we go to) or just want to take a beautiful walk or run (call Kerri if you're running), we highly recommend a visit! Our wedding venue is located within the park, so if you find yourself on the Mount Misery trail, you'll likely wind up behind the venue. Drive from hotel to the visitor center: 10 minutes Closest parking to hotel: 8 minutes; Yellow Springs Trail Parking Lot, 1700 Wilson Rd, Malvern, PA 19355
La Cabra Brewing
La Cabra is a must-visit. It's our absolute favorite brewery and where we celebrated our engagement! We never met a La Cabra beer we didn't like - start with their flagship IPA, Hipster Catnip, and order whatever's in the firkin (if you don't know what a firkin is, ask your bartender - the staff is the best.) Full-service kitchen with a smaller yet delicious menu. We recommend the duck fries and smoked wings. Drive from hotel: 7 minutes
Will's + Bill's Brewery and Restaurant
Great for lunch or dinner, Will's + Bill's has an extensive food menu - we love the duck egg rolls, Irish Stout soup and, when in doubt, always go with a burger. Of course, the draft list is why we're recommending this spot so be sure to grab a local beer or a craft cocktail! Drive from hotel: 3 minutes
Valley Forge Casino Resort
If you're looking for some nightlife, Valley Forge Casino Resort is the region’s only full-amenity gaming resort with live table games, FanDuel Sportsbook, live music, DJs, dining and more. Drive from hotel: 10 minutes
Bald Birds Brewing Company
Grab a beer at Bald Birds Brewing Company (the O.G. pilsner and NEIPAs are great) to enjoy on their deck and a bite to eat from the food truck (or BYO whatever food you want.) Matt loves to go here after playing a round at Shannondell Golf Course. Drive from hotel: 15 minutes
