Bikes: Most homes come with at least 2 bikes, but if you need additional bikes, you can rent them directly through Homeowner’s Collection. There will be links at the bottom of your cottage rental confirmation email for you to book bikes, beach chairs, kayaks etc. Beach Chairs: Cabana Man is the only beach chair rental company in Seaside — we recommend calling Homeowners Collection or Cabana Man to find the closest beach access entrance to your cottage. If you book a house through any other rental company (such as VRBO or 360Blue), you must select the central Coleman Pavilion as your beach access point when booking your beach chairs. https://www.cabanaman.com/ Cabana Man will not allow bookings for April until early January. In the special requests section of the booking process, you can write “Phillips/Biggs Wedding”, in order to try and get chairs next to the rest of the wedding. Feel free to book in groups, as this guarantees chairs next to each other. *NOTE: If you stay in a neighboring town such as Watercolor or Seagrove, you will only be allowed to book beach chairs at the Coleman Pavilion entrance and will not have access to our pools or other beach entrances. We highly recommend staying in Seaside Proper.*
There are three pools in Seaside: the adult only pool, the west pool and the family pool. To access these pools you must have an access card. If you book your rental through Homeowners Collection, you will automatically receive access cards. If you book through a third party such as VRBO or Air BnB- you need to check with the owner to see if the house comes with pool/fitness center access! A typical day in Seaside usually involves going to the beach in the morning and the pool in the afternoon so be sure to check this wherever you decide to book your rental!
No. Golf carts are not allowed in Seaside proper unless they come included with your house (some properties are grandfathered in). You won’t be able to rent one separately to drive around Seaside.
The town of Seaside closes down very early, therefore we highly recommend stocking up on any late night drinks or food you will want for your house! Here are two options for that: Publix (WaterColor Crossings Shopping Center): If you’re driving in or have a rental car, we recommend stopping at Publix on the way into town (about 5–10 minutes from Seaside) to stock up on groceries and drinks. Uber's will also stop at a grocery store with you on your way into town! Modica Market (Seaside Town Square): A charming, upscale market where you can grab wine, coffee, snacks, and beach essentials — all within walking distance of your rental. This will have less options than Publix.
No, there is not beach service. However, you can bring your own food and drinks to the beach. You can also walk to one of the nearby beach bars for a drink such as Daytrader Tiki Bar or Bud and Alleys!
