Lakefront Trail
Running / biking / walking /rollerblading on the Lakefront Trail is one of our favorite past times. The Drake is conveniently located right by the Oak Street Underpass. Just north of the hotel, take the underpass to get you to the trail. It goes about 7 miles north from this spot, and about 20 miles south. There is a Divy station as well right by the Underpass entrance if you'd like to rent a bike.
Chicago River Boat Architecture Tours
Head down to the Chicago River and take an Architectural Tour. This is one of Carolyn's favorite things to do! You can also explore the Riverwalk which is about 1.5 miles long.
Green City Market Lincoln Park
Grab a Divy bike, or walk on up to Green City Farmers Market in Lincoln Park for great seasonal finds and freshly baked pastries! About 1.5 miles from The Drake. A weekend favorite of ours!
