We met in 2020 — young, in love, and not quite sure what to do with something that felt so real. We dated for a month before going our separate ways, maybe because we needed time to grow into who we were meant to be. We stayed in touch here and there through high school, but the timing never quite worked out. In early 2022, we lost contact for about ten months. During that time, we both learned a lot about ourselves — but even apart, the connection we shared never went away. When we found our way back to each other in September 2022, everything felt natural again. Comfortable, steady, and right. Now, three and a half years later, we’re getting married, sharing the cutest apartment with our two cats (nala and penny), and building a life together that feels grounded, genuine, and full of love.
