Maid of Honor
Macy and I have been in each other's lives longer than we have been apart. She has been there with me as we celebrated our highest highs and supported each other through our lowest lows. This friendship that started when we were somewhere around 3 years old has blossomed into the strongest, most wonderful bond any friends could have, and I couldn't be more grateful to have her by my side. Fun Fact: Macy is a roller-skating queen! Ask her how many years we have won free chicken for a year roller skating around Chick-fil-A for their skate-a-thon.
Best Man
Ethan is my best friend, but more importantly, he is my brother. From our first years fighting over the top bunk, to our time spent as adults in the weight room, we've built a special bond. I couldn’t imagine anyone else as my best man. Fun Fact: After the challenge by our father, Ethan once ran six miles straight as a 13 year old for a wrinkly five dollar bill.
Bridesmaid
Ava is the reason Hunter and I even went on a first date! I knew her from school, and she is stunning, sweet, and has the absolute best sense of fashion (so I figured coming from the same family, Hunter might not be too bad!). She is the sister I always wanted and a great friend. Fun Fact: Ava is seriously the most creative person I have ever met and is the best person to go to for all things Etsy and décor.
Groomsman
Noah and I became close friends in high school, and inseparable in college. I cherish my years knowing Noah and his wife, Ireland, and have tremendous gratitude for their loving acceptance of Delanie into our tight-knit group. Fun Fact: Noah made it his personal mission to train me up in golf. We’ve learned a lot in the process, but he’s mostly learned to not let me use his driver.
Bridesmaid
Raelee and I met through working at CCU on the Hosting Team and in Admissions and then were roommates. We bonded over going through some big similar life experiences and she has been one of my dearest and most supportive friends since. She is so fun and joy-filled that it makes you want to be always around her! Fun Fact: Raelee is the biggest football fan and taught me everything I needed to know when Hunter and I started dating.
Groomsman
I first met Blake in sophomore year chemistry class in high school. We found a shared humor and have spent our great friendship calling each other “ese” ever since. Blake and his wife, Hannah, complete the tight knit group of six that includes the Kuzmas and Delanie and I. Fun Fact: a Renaissance man, Blake can catch a bass, throw a touchdown, and short the housing market all in one day.
Bridesmaid
Ellie and I were roommates in college. We became fast friends as she is so fun to talk to and so compassionate. She is the type of person you could talk to all night long (and honestly there were many times we could have if it weren’t for school and work first thing in the morning the next day!) Fun Fact: Ellie is the BEST at impressions and has made me nearly pee my pants on several occasions.
Groomsman
Collin arrived at New City Church amidst the Pandemic. As God would have it, we would develop a deep relationship of theology, politics, business, and Lord of the Rings. Proverbs 27:17 comes to mind. Fun Fact: I’m still trying to figure out a way to repay Collin for numerous roadside rescues. He’s handier, happier, and a better hustler than AAA.
Bridesmaid
Jayden and I were college roommates (and still are roommates). I feel like a VIP around this girl because she literally runs everything from choir to sports events on campus. She is so fun, and we’ve had some good times road tripping and sightseeing through the great Nebraskan corn fields together. Fun Fact: Jayden will absolutely crush anyone at a game of knockout. I never have been prouder to be someone’s roommate than the day she destroyed all the guys at a school basketball half-time game of knockout.
