We're Getting Married!

Back in summer 2016, we met at a frozen yogurt shop in Danville, CA while visiting with future college roommates. We both felt an immediate connection in those 20 minutes of meeting each other and asked our roommates about the other when we parted ways. We didn't see each other again for the next three months until we randomly ran into each other back in Texas at Baylor University. From then on we spent a great amount of time together, began dating a month later, and the rest is history!

Preston proposed to Delaney in Prather Park in Dallas, TX on November 23rd. With lots of planning and help from friends and family, he was able to pull off the whole thing as a surprise. Preston created three stations, each representing the three years they have been together. The first station consisted of letters of love and support written by both of their parents. The second station had a Bible with their names and the date etched into it. It was at this station where they prayed over one another and their future together. The third and final station consisted of roses, Preston getting down on one knee to ask Delaney to marry him, and their close friends and family popping out of the bushes to surprise them.
