Christina’s first feeling towards me was disappointment when Mom brought a Baby Me home instead of a kitten, but I’m glad that she’s since warmed up to the idea of me over the last 26 years. We may be sisters by birth, but have chose each other to be the best friend, confidant, and home team. We’ve shared the deepest belly laughs, tears, and everything in between (and by in between I mean quite literally every life event). Antonio is mainly my favorite because he’s always down to share a brownie sundae. But, he is also kindest and most patient guy I’ve ever met. I couldn’t pick a better match.

Christina and I became quick friends in fourth grade. We went through some of the most awkward stages of our life together and made so many great memories through it all. Now that we’re older and don’t live as close, we don’t get to see each other as often as we’d like but when we do, we pick up right where we left off. Even better, it’s the type of friendship where one of us calls and there can be a flight arranged for the next weekend without any questions or hesitations. Tony has embraced our crazy and spontaneous friendship and even my dog Halo has shown her approval after her first visit when they were cuddling in bed together.

Christina and I met back and college and ended up as roommates through a mutual friend; that friend ended up transferring leaving Christina and I to spend many hours watching Sex and the City and Gossip Girl. Since then we’ve shared a lot of life’s big moments from looking at apartments, buying cars+ lulu, going on vacations, etc. Christina is my life partner and I couldn’t be more happy that she’s found her forever partner! Tony and Christina I am so excited to be apart of your special day; love you both!

Christina and I met in 2015. She started as a nurse on D1 while I was on maternity leave. When I went back to work we hit it off right away. Over the years we have been there for each other through great times and some rough times. Between moves, her finishing NP school and me having more babies, we both have had to lean on each other for support. I can think of so many times she has helped me and my family. My kids love her, Antonio and LuLu. She has watched them grow up which is so special to me. It truly has felt like more than five years of friendship! We both moved on to different jobs but I know I can always count on Tina. Even with busy schedules we always make time to get together at least once a month and talk daily. This time we should really consider getting skinny by August!

Christina and I are connected in so many ways. We met briefly through our significant others, but formed a lasting connection through working together at Catholic Medical Center. From coworkers to friends, to weekly double dates and mani-pedis, Christina has become my soul sister. I can’t wait to stand by her side on 1/29/2022 and celebrate the love that she and Tony share!
