their love story

first comes middle school, then comes marriage

How We Met It all started at Oak Middle School. Lindsey and Tim were 11 and 12 years old. Tim saw Lindsey for the first time, and knew she was the one. They became really good friends, but Tim just couldn’t get himself out of the friend zone. Throughout middle school and high school their relationship grew, but the timing was never right. After high school they went their separate ways and lost contact. Later on, after some years apart, their paths crossed again. Tim was living in Las Vegas, NV at the time and Lindsey still in Orange County, CA when they jumped feet first into a long distance relationship. After about a year of long distance, Tim knew he couldn’t be apart from Lindsey, and the both knew that they wanted to make this work longterm. So Tim moved back to Orange County to be closer to Lindsey and start the rest of their lives, back where it all began. The Mountain Proposal Tim proposed to Lindsey on August 10, 2019 at her family’s cabin in Lake Arrowhead, CA on their way to breakfast at Belgian Waffle Works (their favorite Saturday morning tradition). Lindsey almost ruined the surprise proposal when she decided of all days to put make-up on in the same room Tim intended on secretly videotaping the moment - leaving him no way to secretly set up the Go-Pro. Both families met up for the day to celebrate as one GIANT family. Happily Ever After After they spent the rest of the year in CA, Tim took an amazing job opportunity back in Las Vegas. This time, they BOTH packed up and moved to Las Vegas together in March of 2020. Despite moving in at the beginning of Covid-19 quarantine, they both agree it’s the best thing they’ve ever done and can’t wait to continue their adventure.
