We met over 8 years ago in high school when our friends invited us to Rockport for Memorial Day weekend. Once the weekend came to an end, Delaney asked one of their common friends for Robert's phone number. After a few dates in high school, followed by 4 years together at the University of Texas, then 4 years of long distance dating, and many road trips back and forth to see each other, we're engaged!

Robert and Delaney have shared many memories over the years at her family's ranch in Boerne. When Delaney started planning another ranch trip with friends, Robert started planning a special surprise. On Saturday afternoon, Robert told Delaney there were some Axis deer in the side pasture, so everyone went outside to take a look. Once Delaney began looking into the binoculars, Robert tapped her shoulder and quickly got down on one knee. After a few moments of shock and asking "is this real?", she said "yes"! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Boerne!
