Parker and Delaney met at a YoungLife volleyball game in the backyard of 11 Stewart St. in March 2021 of their freshman year at Ohio University. You could call it love at first block, but we all know Delaney wasn't blocking any of those from Parker (cue height joke). After a summer of pretending that everyone *didn't* know that they were crushing hard and constantly texting each other, they made it official. Just in time for a double meet the parents at hOUmecoming. Go Bobcats!

Parker pulled off the surprise in June of 2025 on OU's campus. They had come down to Athens to "Watch an NBA game with Kier and Lucas." On Saturday morning, they were taking one last drive through campus before they headed back to Columbus when Parker took a quick turn towards a parking lot. Immediately, Delaney started skipping, crying, and laughing (you can picture it, I'm sure) the entire walk to Emeriti Park where he popped the question. The first thing Delaney said after saying yes was, "It's so sparkly!"
