We met, we fell in love, and now we're getting hitched. It was a classic case of love at first sight, from a nervously excited brunch in Alameda that neither of us wanted to end, we both knew we found someone special. Our friendship, bond, and love for each other has only grown since then - from saying our first "I love you" after a vacation together, to the many parks we've visited, and planning our next adventure. Our lives have coincidentally run very parallel paths, but are now finally merged together. - Delaney & Nick

At approximately 12:30 pm Mountain Time, Nick proposed to Delaney at the top of a mountain called (clears throat) Midland "Hill." Nick was holding on to a ring that Delaney was wearing while she reapplied sunscreen. After a little picnic lunch, Nick asked if she wanted her ring back and then...Nick took out a stunningly beautiful engagement ring and got down on one knee. Quite a feat given we were on very rocky terrain at the top of the mountain! Delaney was quite literally on top of the world (or in this case on top of Midland Hill) and said Yes! They gleefully giggled back down the mountain with a pep in their steps to share the news with their anxiously awaiting families (who all knew the plan). We are excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!
