Maid of Honor
Conley is Delaney's younger sister by 2 years. She has always been her best friend, the one who makes her laugh the most and the one who is by her side in any crazy adventure. Here are some "tid bits" about Conley: -She is a prayer warrior. If you're struggling, ask her to pray over you in the Spirit! -She is kind to everyone, but don't get caught messing with the people she loves! -She loves to eat Cafe Rio while watching a Disney movie or good Netflix series -Conley is a business boss woman! (@harrishikers) -She is an amazing cook, but I'll warn you, you might find sauce on the ceiling. -She is a proper beach bum, she goes to the beach almost every day. Yes, there's sand everywhere in her car and house -You can bribe her to do almost anything for chocolate ice cream
Bridesmaid
Delaney first met Jamie my junior year of college, they were on the same volleyball team. A year after they became roommates.....and that was the point of no return...Jamie was officially stuck with Delaney from then on out. Jamie is the best person you'll ever meet. You NEED a friend like Jamie. Here are some fun facts about Jamie: -Jamie is a MISSIONARY for FCA, she shares Jesus to high school and college athletes. She is a powerhouse in ministry. -Jame is STRONG. Physically and mentally. Don't mess with Jamie. -Jamie will pretty much always say "yes" to any crazy adventure Delaney or Conley conjure up. -She loves animals. When Delaney and Jamie lived together, she would always bring home some kind of critter to nurse back to health. -Jamie loves the Lord, she really does. She shows so much grace and mercy to anyone and everyone.
Bridesmaid
Delaney has known McKayla her entire life, their moms were best friends in high school, so naturally they're are best friends. McKayla grew up down the street from Delaney. So many of Delaney's BEST memories in life are with McKayla. Here are some things you should know about McKayla: -McKayla is FUNNY. Delaney's childhood was filled with laughter..... the pee your pants kind of laughter. She is quick-witted and incredibly goofy. Delaney can fill a book with the amount of "inside jokes" they have. -She is intelligent. McKayla was always my first pick whenever we had a scavanger hunt designed by my dad. She is a problem-solver and solution-finder. Today, McKayla is finishing up her PsyD. What an incredible feat of sacrifice and knowledge. -McKayla cares for people. She genuinely wants to understand people. It's a gift and inspiration. She will be an incredible psychologist. -She is creative. She is good with a camera, the cricut, interior design, etc. She is a DIY girl to the bone!
Bridesmaid
Kelly is someone Delaney has known her entire life. Delaney doesn't remember a time not knowing Kell Bell. Kelly is someone you NEED to have a conversation with. She LISTENS to you, like really listens. She remembers the little things you say, and wants you to feel seen. Some fun facts about Kelly: -Kelly is incredibly hard working. She is finishing up her schooling in Occupational Therapy. -From a young age, Kelly has always loved elderly people. LOVED them. Everyone always thought it was funny, until they realized what a gift it is.... to have a heart for people who are so overlooked by today's culture and society. Kelly will be working with the geriatric population in occupational therapy. -Kelly is HYSTERICAL. McKayla and Kelly both make Delaney laugh so much in childhood (and to this day). It's difficult to explain Kelly's humor, but once you know her... you just know she's funny. -Kelly loves Jesus. She adores Him. It's evident in the way she lives her life and how she loves people.
Bridesmaid
Spending time with Ashlynn is easy and familiar. She went to high school with Conley and later went to the same college as Delaney. Their time was filled with Blaze Pizza, Vampire Diaries, baseball games, running/workout out, frozen yogurt, farmers markets, weekend adventures, and so much more. Here are some things you should know about Ashlynn: -Ashlynn is married to Delaney's childhood best friend (Cade). -She loves the Lord. She really does. Ashlynn wants to please Him with her life. -Ashlynn makes Delaney laugh (do you notice a trend that Delaney surrounds herself with very funny people haha!). She is a dry, sarcastic funny. -Ashlynn is wicked smart. She would never admit to this publicly. She breezed through college in three years and is now getting her masters in Speech Pathology. -Ashlynn is a SCARDY CAT!! Delaney would have to walk Ashlynn to her dorm room after watching Vampire Diaries at 8pm. -She is a bargain shopper. Ashlynn lives for the deals. Delaney has seen her get the craziest sales on random stuff. She once brought me 4 pounds of chicken breast in college for $10.
Bridesmaid
Delaney loves Maddie. Out of all my bridesmaides, she is most similar to Delaney. Delaney met Maddie in college, but really got to know her once she married Trevor (another childhood best friend lol). Here are some things you should know about Maddie. -Maddie is a new mother to Jamison :) -Maddie is observant. She notices things about people. She remembers details. When you talk to Maddie, you can tell she's reading between the lines. -She is genuine. Maddie is one of the most authentic people you will meet. She will not deviate from who she is. She will tell you the truth, no matter how it sounds. -She loves to give. Maddie's love language is gifts. She ENJOYS giving people meaningful presents. You know Maddie loves you when she starts giving you books to read haha! -She is competitive. Maddie is an athlete at heart and loves to compete. She loves to win! Crossfit, volleyball, yard games, or any card game. Don't mess with her, she'll get heated if you break the rules or cheat.
Best Man
"Tran" is Michael's best friend from his years in the military. They met on their base in Washington and were inseparable ever since. There was an instant "click" between Phillip and Michael. Phillip grew up in San Francisco and lives there currently with his girlfriend Linore. He has an incredible work ethic, and currently works as a San Francisco Fire Firefighter (not as cool as LAFD). Michael can always depend on Phillip, no matter the situation.
Groomsman
"Mata" is from Utah and currently lives in the Ogen area as a police officer. Michael and Gabriel met in their base in Washington, they were placed in the same platoon. They became instant friends as Mata always has "some kind of joke to say". Gabriel is a very supporting friend as he flew from Utah to attend Michael's LAFD academy graduation. Gabriel is here with his girlfriend Alyssa, who hails from La Habra!
Groomsman
"Bogaki" currently lives in New Hampshire as a private military contractor. Michael first met Bogaki in his platoon in Washington. Bogaki loves all things guns, America, dogs, fitness/health, and family. He will never say "no" to a night out and often dragged his friends to parties and bars. When it came time to be transferred out of Washington, Bogaki was placed in a different unit as Michael in Pendleton. Although they didn't see each other as much, they still stayed close friends.
Groomsman
Similar to all of Michael's groomsmen, Alexis and Michael met in the same platoon in Washington. Michael describes "Briseno" as "easy-going and funny". Alexis is originally from Chigaco and recently graduated with a business degree from USC. He loves basketball, traveling, and spending time with family. At the moment, Alexis is traveling the world and navigating what he should do with his business degree.
Groomsman
"Valdez" is the family man out of the group. He is married to his wife Sydney (who is here tonight) and has a baby boy. Valdez currently lives in the Temecula area and works a "desk job" (this is according to Michael when Delaney asked). Similar to Bogaki, Valdez was transferred to a different unit in Pendleton after Washington, but still kept in close touch with Michael.
Groomsman
Bryce is the Conley's husband and part of the family! Some things to know about Bryce: -Delaney has always loved Bryce for Conley, even before they were dating! -Bryce is a foodie! He will try any kind of food and is always browsing yelp for new places to try. -Bryce loves Delaney's dog Daisy -Bryce loves Jesus. He is one of the most God-fearing individuals you'll ever meet. -He loves to adventure and spend time with Delaney & Conley.
Groomsman
Trevor is one of Delaney's childhood best friend and husband to Maddie. Some things to know about Trevor: -Trevor is a quick learner is weirdly good at everything. -Trevor went to school with Delaney for 16 years (yes, 1st grade through college). -Trevor is a new father to baby Jamison and recently moved to Florida this past August. -He grew up just a few doors down the street from Delaney. -Delaney considered Trevor her best friend in school.
Groomsman
Cade is Trevor's younger brother by two years. Some fun facts about Cade: -Cade is a very caring person, he has been this way for as long as Delaney can remember -Similar to Trevor, Cade is very athletic and is good at ANY sport -Cade is a math teacher and is married to Ashlynn -Delaney will always consider Cade her little brother, she grew up with him since he was 5 years old!
Groomsman
Ryan is the younger brother of McKayla and Kelly. Similar to almost everyone on Delaney's side, she grew up with Ryan. A few things about Ryan: -Ryan is a devout Catholic. His tenacity, knowledge, and commitment to his faith is inspiring. -Ryan loves to argue. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT get a debate with Ryan. -He is in the process of taking his LSAT to get into law school (go figure) -When Delaney was a younger, her and McKayla would love to "spy" and video Ryan as he would fight imaginary villians and talk to himself. -Delaney often goes on runs with Ryan throughout the general Brea area.
