We have booked a hotel block here! It is located in downtown Greensboro and an easy 3 minute walk to the welcome party. It's also close to lots of other fun things to do downtown. There will be a shuttle to take people to and from the ceremony Saturday from The Marriott.

We also have a hotel block at The Proximity, a beautiful upscale and ecofriendly hotel, which is about a 7 minute drive from the welcome party and downtown Greensboro. It has a great restaurant and is where Obama and Michael Jordan stayed when visiting Greensboro! There will be a shuttle to take people to and from the ceremony on Saturday from The Proximity.

The easiest way to get to Greensboro is the Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) which is in Greensboro (and about a 15 minute drive from both hotels). Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is also a great option and is about an hour away.
