Bridesmaid
Wendy and I have a multifaceted relationship. She's my friend, my boss, and like a mom to me. We met in our last year of law school in Conflicts. I had no idea that the random person sitting next to me on the left side of the auditorium would become such an important and instrumental part of my life. Wendy embodies so many characteristics I admire. She exudes ambition and drive. She loves deeply and cares so much about the people in her life. She is constantly putting others above herself and going out of her way to make sure everyone has what she needs before herself. She has taught me so much about life and what it means to be successful. I am so lucky I have gotten to know Wendy, and I am so honored and grateful she is willing to be a part of the wedding party and this special day in my life. Wendy was there for me when I became an attorney, and having her be the person to swear me in was such a special day and something I will cherish for the rest of my life.
Bridesmaid
Maddie and I have been friends since we were in middle school. She and I have changed so much as people, and I am proud and honored to call her my friend. Maddie has always been there for me to talk to and always been supportive of me. Maddie is a part of me, and like home to me. We often comment on how we don't have a lot in common, yet we always come back to each other. Maddie is familiarity. She is like the hot cocoa in the middle of winter, or the warm blanket that comes fresh out of the dryer. Maddie has constantly been a comfort in my life, and someone I can go to when I need to feel reassured in my decisions. She is such a caring person, who does incredible work as a nurse. She has worked so hard to get where she is today, and I couldn't be more proud of her. I genuinely can't imagine life without her being a part of it, even if we see each other sporadically with our busy schedules. I can't imagine getting married without her being there and I am so grateful and relieved she's a part of my life.

Kaitlyn and I have been friends since we were in middle school, when we lived down the street from each other. We had to ride the bus with Ralph driving, which was always an adventure. Kaitlyn is the funniest person I know. Any time we are together, I'm constantly laughing. She tells the best stories that are so relatable. One of the things I admire about Kaitlyn is how she isn't afraid to be authentically herself. She loves what she loves fearlessly. Kaitlyn is a beautiful writer, who has written me incredible notes over the years that I come back to frequently. Another thing I admire about Kaitlyn is that she is honest. Kaitlyn is someone I know I can go to who will tell me the truth, even if I don't want to hear it. Kaitlyn and I share a love for music, and we often talk about choir. Any time I hear a song I sang in choir or a song that I think would be a good song for a choir, I think of Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn loves nature, and has a degree in environmental studies. When I see an interesting plant or animal, I always think of her. I am so grateful and honored Kaitlyn is going to be in my wedding party. I know she will bring all of the laughs, and also be supportive and encouraging. I can't imagine getting married without her being there.

Yulissa and I met in law school where we were both taking the Law and literature seminar. I remember her walking in late the first day and immediately being blown away by her physical beauty. Yulissa is so much more than her outside appearance, however. She also has a heart that matches her outside beauty. When I found out I passed the bar I video chatted Yulissa and her excitement for me was infectious. She made that special moment for me even better with her excitement and celebration for me. One of the things I admire about Yulissa is how kind she is. Yulissa goes out of her way to be kind to everyone. I also admire Yulissa's intelligence and how she is so determined and driven. Yulissa loves nerds gummy clusters, and every time I eat them, I think of her and our struggles in the law and literature seminar, where we had to write the massive paper and I thought there was no way I could ever get it done. Yulissa has always been so motivating and encouraging. She made my struggles in that class so much easier by being so positive, and reassuring me that I could make it through and get it done. I am so honored and grateful Yulissa agreed to be in my wedding party, and I can't imagine her not being there.

Gene and I have always been more than just brothers, and our unique upbringing has helped solidify our friendship from the start. Moving to a new country at a young age, we quickly assimilated and grew up looking out for each other and our parents, helping to navigate our journey in this new place. He has always been caring, protective, and taught me many lessons about life, with his trademark humor and levity. His drive and determination have been inspiring, and watching him grow into the amazing father and family man that he is today made me eager to take that same path. We couldn’t be more different at times, but share many of the same values and will always be there for each other and our families. Whether he is giving me a multitude of life advice or I am picking him up after a rough day at the track, we know that we both want the best for each other. Watching him get married over 12 years ago and being in his wedding party was one of the highlights of my life, and I can’t wait for him to do the same and be there for me on the big day.

Steve has been one of my longest and closest friends. Ever since meeting in middle school advanced math class, we have always bonded over video games, music, and countless fun times together. He is always hilarious, full of stories, and able to charm any person in the room. He is also driven, determined, and incredibly smart, able to talk your ear off about Japanese culture or financial investment advice! I’m very lucky to have Steve as a friend and even luckier to have him by my side on the big day. I know that wherever life takes us, we will always have a good time whenever Steve is there :)
Groomsman
Eric and I met during high school, when we both frequented the same arcades playing DDR. We quickly became friends and while we initially hung out in groups, we kept in touch once those disbanded, sharing many common interests like games and trance music. Some of my favorite memories are riding in his old car with the custom light system, blasting ATB and feeling like we were on top of the world! When he met his now wife Liz, I couldn’t be happier for him and was so glad that he found a great person who appreciates him. I was so honored to be a part of his wedding party, and can’t wait for him to do the same. He is smart, a loyal friend, always cares and checks in on everyone, and has a great sense of humor. He May live farther away now, but we don’t miss a beat whenever we meet up again, and I’m happy to call him a close and dear friend.

James and I met not long after I started dating Delaney, and I was admittedly nervous to meet her family, hoping they would like me. Having the respect and approval of a sibling is a big deal to me, and I was relieved when we really got along! James is a great young man, full of life and wit, and I’m excited to get to know him more as I join Delaney’s family and she joins mine.
