We met our senior year of high school, and became friends our freshman year of college. We reconnected in 2013, and began building a solid friendship together. After realizing that our relationship ran deeper than being just friends, we decided to give dating a shot. We began dating November 13, 2015, and have been living our happily-ever-after adventure since!

Joe had me under the impression that we were puppy-sitting for a friend. We took the puppy to Joe's house, and began discussing my design plans for his living room. He told me to get a design catalog from the other room because he had an idea that he wanted me to look at. When I came back from the other room empty handed, Joe was down on one knee with the ring in his hand. He told me that the puppy was ours, we were keeping him, and that this was actually happening. Of course I said yes to a puppy proposal!
