This small, intimate wedding is brought to you by Covid-19, venue restrictions, and the sudden relocation of my parents! When we got engaged in 2019, we weren't ready to tie the knot just then. We were both still in college and wanted to wait until we had a little more time and money before we planned anything solid. At that point, we wanted to elope somewhere exotic, like Austria. When 2020 happened and dragged into 2021, we started looking at alternative ideas and kept pushing back our prospective date. Eventually we landed on October of 2023 and that seemed like it was going to work. Then, in July of this year, my (Delaney) parents decided that it was time for them to move back to Washington state. Obviously, I was thrilled for them but I suddenly realized that if I wanted them to be there for the entirety of the wedding planning and the days leading up, I was going to have to push up our date by an entire year. So we did just that! Scrambling to get everything in place in the span of three months has been difficult and stressful but we are so excited to share this day with all of our friends and family, near and far. If you are here to tune into our wedding through zoom, go to the "Schedule" tab at the top of the website and click "Go to Virtual Event" in the center of the screen. Thank you all for loving and supporting us individually and as a couple for the last (almost) five years. Here's to the newest and best chapter of our lives!
