We both grew up in the small town of Sisters, Oregon — the kind of place where you pass the same people in the halls at school, at the grocery store, and apparently... in the swim lanes. We technically swam on the same swim club team in elementary school, though if you ask Delaney, she has no memory of Brendan being there. Her defense? “I was in the fast lane and Brendan was not.” Even though we crossed paths over the years, we didn’t actually *meet* until August 4th, 2021, at a crab feed with Delaney’s coworkers (Brendan still isn’t totally sure how he ended up there — fate, probably). From the very first conversation, something clicked. That night turned into weekends spent together, which turned into road trips, ski days, hikes, and dinners cooked side by side — and suddenly we realized we’d found something really special. We’ve been inseparable ever since. We love doing all the same things — camping, hiking, skiing, biking, traveling, cooking, and spending as much time outside (or cozied up inside) as possible. Whether we’re out on a trail or just grocery shopping together, everything is better when we’re with each other. On September 3rd, 2024, Brendan proposed — and now we’re so excited to celebrate this next adventure with all of you. Thanks for being part of our big day.
