Our families had known each other for years! Though, it all started in 2016 when our families took a trip and crossed over to the Bahamas. Funny enough, we didn’t exchange a single word the entire trip—but somehow, we ended up following each other on social media. Fast forward to 2021, when a conversation about our shared love for ‘80s music brought us back into each other’s lives. We decided to meet at a Rebelution concert, but life had other plans—we only spent about 10 minutes together that night. Determined to make up for lost time, we planned a real date: dinner at Two Georges, followed by drinks at Harry's Banana Farm. That night, we made a surprising discovery—we lived just four minutes apart! From that moment on, everything fell into place. And now, we can't wait to celebrate the next chapter of our journey with all of you!

One of our favorite stories comes from our third date at Hogsnappers, where sushi and sake turned into a spontaneous adventure. Chris had an early morning flight for his annual jet ski competition in Lake Havasu, AZ, and after a couple of sake bombs, he jokingly asked Lanee if she wanted to come along. Without hesitation, she bought a ticket just 10 hours before takeoff and spent an unforgettable week in Arizona with him. The rest was history!
