We went to the same high school & met each other through a mutual friend. Because we were a year a part in grade, we did not hang out or talk much. Gregory already graduated ans contacted and I was enjoying the Summer before I started my Senior year of high school. This is where it all began. We contacted each other through social media. (Of course!) At this time, I had the hugest crush on Gregory. He definitely did not know. We swapped numbers and chatted a couple of weeks before he asked me on our first double date. We went and saw a movie with mutual friends that we both knew from school (Doug & Jazmin). The movie we watched was the Conjuring. Of course, our first double date to be a scary movie. Before the movie started, I told him "I have a huge crush on you and was excited you asked me out." He was shocked I never told him when we were in school, but I was too chicken to ask for his number. After a few dates and weeks of chatting, a month goes by and Gregory finally asks me to be his girlfriend; July 19, 2013. This is where our love story began.....<3
It was Summer time in California. We both were visiting our parents and hometown like we try to do every year. I planned a trip with my family to go to San Francisco to see the Museum of Ice Cream. My aunt and cousins were coming into town and have not seen the family for 10 years. So, it was a big and special time for my family. Gregory spent the night before and spent the day with us. In the morning, we got ready and made our way to San Francisco. It was an hour drive, but worth it. We all walked around in downtown waiting to go into the Museum of Ice Cream. Once we were there, we ate ice cream, had many laughs, and tooks tons of pictures. Then we made our way to China Town. We shopped in some shops and ate at a sushi place. Gregory and I did not really eat because we wanted crab. So, once we were done there we walked to the pier. I pointed to Gregory and said "I want a picture with the ocean and Alcatraz in the back." I asked my cousin to take a picture. When she was taking a picture, I noticed my family taking pictures too. I did not think anything of it. Once we were done, Gregory pointed and said "Look over there." So, I turned to see what it was and turned back around and there he was....on one knee.
