The simplest answer is that it was affordable, and we are paying for this day ourselves. But as we have thought about it more, it is actually really cool. The first time we ever hung out was on Easter of 2020, right when the pandemic shut everything down.
We want to honor that it is Easter, so we have asked our officiant to preach a sermon. We also understand that people would rather attend church and spend the day with their families, as it's a very significant holiday. Easter is the day Jesus rose, therefore a happy day in the eyes of the Lord, and we think He will be okay with us getting married on such a happy day.
We ask that you wear GREEN Semi-Formal Attire. We suggest you wear a black or grey suit (with green accents) or green suit, nice cocktail dress, dressy separates or pantsuit.
We kindly request your RSVP by March 1, 2026
The ceremony will begin at 9:30 am. We ask that you arrive around 9:15 so you can find a seat and settle in.
Your RSVP card will state how many seats we have saved for your company.
We don't expect gifts; your company is all we request. Currently, we have a small registry. If you would like to make a purchase, you can. We understand that some people would prefer to give physical presents, and some just want to get something, so we have tried to include a variety of items.
Yes, we have included that on our website RSVP's. If you are sending physical RSVP's then just add it to the back of the card. Currently, we are working on as many gluten-free options as we can provide.
Yes, there is a parking lot at the venue. We will have a sign with balloons to help grab your attention at the entrance.
