Yes! We've decided that making aliyah will be the best way for us to accomplish our goals. While we are really sad to be leaving you all, we're also really excited about the adventure to come!
Mazel Tov (congratulations) on this new experience! Here's a few helpful links to know what to expect. We won't follow every tradition outlined to a T, but we are trying to keep it fairly traditional. If you still have questions, feel free to reach out to us. https://etsy.me/2OTUP7J https://bit.ly/2MDeYvM https://bit.ly/2OEp0Q6
Wear something that makes you feel beautiful and comfortable! Examples: Men- Jeans and a dress shirt with a tie and/or suit jacket. Khakis/slacks and a short sleeve button up shirt. Women- Sun dress. Jeans/slacks and a blouse. Please be aware that the wedding is outside and skinny heels may sink into the ground. Feel free to go barefoot if you like :)
We love every child of every person that has been invited- even the babies! Please do be aware that this event is drinks and dessert only and the reception will not begin until close to 8:30pm. We will have an area for them to crash and supervision if you want to bring some PJs for them. Please also feel free to leave them at home. We want you to be able stay as long as possible, especially since we are leaving soon.
Since we are moving to Israel, there are very few things that we are taking with us. We are registered for a few items, under the "registry" tab. Since these items are more expensive, we have made it possible for you to contribute monetarily towards these items without purchasing them entirely. There is also a cash registry set up if you feel so inclined. Please do not feel obligated to give us a gift! We understand that it has been difficult for many of you to come and your presence is presents enough <3
There are a few hotels nearby, but Air Bnb is also a good choice. If you like camping, feel free to camp out at the venue with us Saturday night! If you need a tent or sleeping bag or any other necessities- let us know and we should be able to accommodate.
