We're getting Married!

Kevin and Deja's love story began in October 2013 at St. John's University in a 7:30 a.m. business law class. When the professor asked the class if anyone was younger than 18, both Kevin and Deja, sitting next to each other, raised their hands. Deja excitedly exclaimed, "You're 17 too! High five!" In that moment, as they shared a laugh and a high five, their connection was made. From that simple gesture, their journey began, filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. Today, as they prepare to join their lives forever, we celebrate the beautiful story that started with a high five.

On a crisp Friday evening, December 22nd, 2023, Kevin and Deja celebrated a beautiful milestone in their love story. Visiting family in Miami for the holidays, they planned a special dinner on Miami Beach for their ten-year anniversary. With Deja having just finished her finals for graduate school and starting a two-week holiday break, Kevin saw the perfect opportunity to ask the most important question of his life. The restaurant was a surprise, but as they walked to Deja's favorite beach park, Kevin suddenly knelt down and proposed. With tears of joy, Deja said yes, and a hidden photographer captured the magical moment. They enjoyed a heartfelt photoshoot by the water and a romantic dinner, celebrating their engagement and the love they shared.
