Le mariage de Deborah et James

We met in the library at the University of Essex on December 11th 2019 In conversation she thought I looked American because of the picture on my lanyard…later finding out she liked Americans haha. We spoke a little bit that night, only to find out that we share the same Economics/Accounting modules, so she suggested we group studying together with other friends and I wasn’t going to say no she was very pretty lol. So we came back from Christmas break and studied with each other whilst also hanging out nearly every single day. We grew very quickly into best friends and that's never changed since. One day I saw her worshiping at our uni fellowship. She was bowing before God and I just thought "wowww". I had never seen a girl that ticked these boxes of mine: unapologetic in worship, smart, beautiful, very well dressed and a genuine close friend. During lockdown we’d text everyday and if we were on FaceTime it would be for hours either debating scripture or teaching the Bible to each other. I remember I had a dream during the summer that I was at a wild party but I couldn't involve myself because in my heart I felt like I had a girl. But being single, I thought "who is my girl???" and I knew it could have only been Deborah. In reality, I just considered her a Best Friend that complimented everything I’d want in a partner but because she was my bestie, I never saw past that. Eventually, my feelings grew more fond of this magnificent girl as we got to know each other. Simultaneously, she had been praying about me throughout the summer and I never knew. Until the day we got together December 21st 2020 Where we had drawn so close that something had to be said, I prayed leading up to the day asking God for a dream, but instead I was reminded of the dream I had in the summer which I completelyyy forgot about. So we did a thing…and now we are here.
