Question

Are children allowed to attend this event?

Answer

Children are welcome to attend our wedding ceremony, however, due to space restrictions, we have decided to keep our reception adults-only. We appreciate your understanding!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited venue space, we cannot accommodate guests beyond those clearly listed on your wedding invitation. We look forward to celebrating with you soon!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We kindly ask that all guests dress in summer cocktail attire. For women, this includes gowns, cocktail dresses, or dressy jumpsuits. Men should wear a suit or jacket with slacks (no jeans). Bright, summery colors and floral prints are encouraged to usher in the summer!

When should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00pm ET. We kindly ask all guests to arrive 20-30 minutes early to allow time to park and find your seats.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Free parking is available at the ceremony in the lots around the church. For the reception, parking is available in the lot adjacent to the Morris Center operated by DTSB, at the public garage on the corner of Main and Colfax, and at the Doubletree by Hilton/1st Source Bank Complex. Parking is also available on the streets within walking distance of the Morris and at the Leighton Center on Washington Street between Main and Michigan Streets.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Gluten-free and nut-free options will be available as part of the regular menu. If your needs go beyond those options, please reach out to Grace at gdeitsch@nd.edu so we can make sure a suitable meal is prepared for you.
