Frequently Asked Questions
Question

Will Deitri be changing her name?

Answer

No, she will continue to be Deitri Villarreal.

Question

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! There is limited handicapped parking adjacent to Happy Days Lodge. Other guests will park across the street and take the underground tunnel to the venue. Please allow 5-10 minutes to walk.

Question

Is the wedding ceremony outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors on grass so we recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges to avoid sinking into the ground. The reception will be indoors in an air-conditioned environment. The concert after the reception is at Blossom Music Center, an outdoor amphitheater.

Question

Can I RSVP online?

Answer

Yes! We invite you to RSVP online here or by mailing in the RSVP card sent with the invitation. The online RSVP option will be available once invitations are sent.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! But we ask that you please drink responsibly throughout the day and night.

Question

Is there a vegetarian/vegan food option at the reception?

Answer

Yes! The vegetarian/vegan meal is portabella mushroom cap stuffed with risotto, sautéed spinach, sun-dried tomato, and kalamata olives. Please let us know on your RSVP response if you’d like the vegan option.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know on your RSVP response if your child would prefer a kid’s meal (chicken tenders, mac & cheese, and fruit cup) or if they will be eating from the buffet at the reception. However, we will not be providing babysitting services at the ceremony, reception, or the orchestra concert so please plan accordingly.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no dress code for the wedding, but we would encourage you to wear blue or red in celebration of Independence Day.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We would prefer an unplugged ceremony, but we’d love for you to take photos at the reception and Blossom Music Center! #FourthEver

Question

Ice cream?

Answer

Yes! We will be having an ice cream bar as the main dessert at the reception.

Question

Who do I contact with questions?

Answer

Feel free to text Deitri or Chris with any questions. We want everyone to enjoy the wedding, reception, and Salute to America at Blossom Music Center!

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We do not have a wedding registry. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift! Please consider giving a donation in our honor.

Question

What is your wedding hashtag?

Answer

#FourthEver

Question

What is the entertainment?

Answer

The reception will not have a DJ or dancing. We invite everyone to be our guests at the Blossom Festival Band concert for the annual Salute to America. Please let us know how many of your family will attend and we’ll provide general admission tickets good for the lawn or the back of the pavilion at Blossom Music Center.

Question

What can I bring to Blossom Music Center?

Answer

General admission seats are good for the lawn or the back of the pavilion in designated areas. You’re welcome to bring your own picnic to Blossom (food, beverages, and wine permitted). Blankets and chairs (preferably short-legged) are welcome on the lawn. Rental chairs are also available ($10/evening).
