In July of 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, Deisi and Daniel found themselves searching for love online. After trying online dating for the first time only a few weeks prior, Daniel was hesitant about the whole concept. But that quickly changed when he matched with Deisi. For three weeks, they messaged every day, talking about everything from family and friends to life goals, their mutual love of movies and TV shows, and everything in between. Still, the thing they liked most about one another was their shared ability to make each other laugh. After admitting that genuine feelings were developing between them, the time had come to meet face-to-face. Daniel made a dinner reservation at Manuela's in DTLA, and everything fell into place. On September 12, 2020, a mere six weeks after their first date, Daniel professed his love to Deisi and asked to make their relationship official. Deisi reciprocated the same heartfelt feelings, and the rest, as they say, is history.
After two and a half years of dating, Daniel surprised Deisi with a weekend trip to Big Sur. With her parents’ blessing, Daniel planned to propose at Point Lobos State Park where he had envisioned asking Deisi to marry him on the cliffs of Big Sur. But when they arrived, it started pouring. Foregoing his original plan, they headed back to their Airbnb. Amidst the rain falling in the background on their balcony nestled in the woods, Daniel dropped down to one knee and popped the question. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. See you in Temecula!
